- Blot the Spilled Soy Sauce With Paper Towels – As soon as you spill the soy sauce onto the carpet, quickly grab some paper towels and start in blotting the stained area. The paper towels will absorb as much of the spill and the stain as possible so that it won’t seep deeper into the carpet fibers.
- Apply Ammonia Solution on the Stain – Next, you’ll need to create an ammonia solution which will be helpful in breaking down the stain and removing it from your carpet. Mix a tablespoon of ammonia with a half cup of water and place the mixture inside your spray bottle. Spray the stain with it and let it soak for a couple of minutes.
